CUA40120 Certificate IV in Dance
The Certificate IV Full Time Program is a one year intensive performing arts training course covering all genres of Performing Arts. Students can choose to focus on Commercial Dance, Contemporary Dance or Musical Theatre via elective opportunities.
With its personal approach, the Certificate IV course provides performing arts training in a supportive environment, offering classes including, but not limited to: Classical Ballet, Jazz, Contemporary, Hip Hop, Musical Theatre, Lyrical, Tap, Drama, Singing, Ballroom, SSC (Stretch, Strength, Conditioning), Make-Up, Music Theory, Acrobatics, Boot Camp, Choreography, Audition Techniques and industry lectures to help enhance performance skills, career development, personal grooming and presentation.
CUA50220 Diploma of Musical Theatre
The Diploma of Musical Theatre course is tailor made for those students who want to do a second year of Full-Time training. The course focuses on extending students’ performance skills whilst also training and educating them in the practical
elements involved in preparation of stage performance.
Students will also be tutored in maintaining peak physical levels throughout a repetitive performance schedule (such as in a professional musical theatre production) with focused training in Vocal Health, nutrition and body conditioning.
Please note, to do our Diploma in Musical Theatre, you must have completed a Certificate IV in dance course and/or be of a high standard in all areas.
CUA50120 Diploma of Dance (Elite Performance)
The Diploma of Dance (Elite Performance) course is unrivalled with a strong emphasis on personal development both practically, mentally and emotionally to prepare the students for the rigours of the entertainment industry.
This course is tailor made for those students who want to do a second year of Full-Time training. The course focuses on extending students’ performance skills whilst also training and educating them to turn them into the perfect “Triple Threat” Performer. Students will have the normal incredible Village faculty each week, to help shape them into the Artist they need to be for a successful career in the Performing Arts.
Please note, to do our Diploma Of Dance (Elite Performance) you must have completed a Certificate IV in dance course and/or be of a high standard in all areas.

Thank you for choosing Village Nation to complete your qualification. This course will be conducted under a partnership with Australian Teachers of Dancing (ATOD), a not-for-profit organisation and one of the leading providers of nationally accredited dance teaching in Australia.
We see this as a three way collaboration – between you, your studio and ourselves. As you dream big, Village Nation will support you to obtain your professional industry qualifications and launch your dance career – whether this is as a professional dance teacher, a successful small business owner or a performer. ATOD will monitor your progression throughout your course and ensure you meet the the national requirements for training and assessing.
Nationally recognised courses ensure a standard of excellence and provide you with a choice of Certificate and Diploma programmes. When you begin your training, your delivery and assessment will be conducted by Village Nation, a highly respected industry professional. As your studies progress, Village Nation focuses on developing your skills further and provide you with every opportunity to achieve your goals.
As the Registered Training Organisation, ATOD are bound by federal legislation and hold ultimate responsibility for your education. We report to government departments as necessary and ensure that Village Nation, complies with legislation. Once you have completed your course, we will issue you with your final certificate.
With all of the legal information and administration covered by ATOD, Village Nation is able to remain creative and concentrate on your learning and on what they do best – training and assessing you in dance, dance teaching and musical theatre.
